If you have any other questions, please feel free to <a href=\"https:\/\/russharbour.com\/index.php\/contact-us\/\">contact us<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Once I enroll, can I begin the course right away?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The registration process takes less than 24 hours.\u00a0 Once you are enrolled, you will receive an email with instructions on how to login to access to your online course.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Is there any way to obtain a Florida real estate license without having to take the pre-license course?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Generally, all applicants must complete a required pre-license course, either online or in-person. If a non-resident of Florida already has a real estate license from another state that is classified as a mutual recognition state, then that person is excused from the requirements of a pre-license class. The mutual recognition applicant takes a state exam of 40 questions on Florida law only. Please call us if you think you may qualify under mutual recognition rules.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The mutual recognition states include Alabama, Arkansas, Connecticut, Georgia, Illinois, Kentucky, Mississippi, Nebraska, Rhode Island and West Virginia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Also, persons with a 4-year college degree in real estate and members of the Florida Bar are not required to take a pre-license course.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What do I have to do to obtain a Florida Real Estate License?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There are essentially three things that must be accomplished. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-c3efc3f00989b492f32e3bfd4f30ff1b\">\n<li style=\"padding-top:var(--wp--preset--spacing--30);padding-right:var(--wp--preset--spacing--20);padding-bottom:var(--wp--preset--spacing--30);padding-left:var(--wp--preset--spacing--20);line-height:1.5\" class=\"has-cardo-font-family\">Submit an application for a real estate license and be approved by the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation, Division of Real Estate. As part of the application process, one must submit fingerprints with the application\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li style=\"padding-top:var(--wp--preset--spacing--20);padding-bottom:var(--wp--preset--spacing--20)\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.fdle.state.fl.us\/Criminal-History-Records\/Documents\/InternetDoc_ServiceProviders.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Click Here for a list of LiveScan Service Providers<\/a><br>(The following LiveScan fingerprint service provider will be available during class for In-Person Students: PERSONAL SECURITY CONCEPTS, LLC <a href=\"https:\/\/www.personalsecurityconcepts.biz\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">www.PersonalSecurityConcepts.biz<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li style=\"padding-top:var(--wp--preset--spacing--20);padding-bottom:var(--wp--preset--spacing--20)\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www2.myfloridalicense.com\/real-estate-commission\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Click Here to Submit the Real Estate License Application<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li style=\"padding-top:var(--wp--preset--spacing--30);padding-right:var(--wp--preset--spacing--20);padding-bottom:var(--wp--preset--spacing--30);padding-left:var(--wp--preset--spacing--20);line-height:1.5\" class=\"has-cardo-font-family\">Complete an approved pre-license course (like the one offered by Russ Harbour Real Estate School) and pass the course exam with a 70% or better. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li style=\"padding-top:var(--wp--preset--spacing--30);padding-right:var(--wp--preset--spacing--20);padding-bottom:var(--wp--preset--spacing--30);padding-left:var(--wp--preset--spacing--20);line-height:1.5\" class=\"has-cardo-font-family\">Pass the state exam with a score of 75% or higher.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Does my application have to be submitted before I register for a pre-license course?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>No.\u00a0 A person may first register for our online course, then <a href=\"https:\/\/www2.myfloridalicense.com\/real-estate-commission\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">submit their application to the Division of Real Estate<\/a>.\u00a0 We gladly assist all our students on how to process their\u00a0application.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What if I don\u2019t pass the online course exam?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Florida law mandates that If a student does not pass the course exam the first time, they must wait at least 30 days before retaking a second different course exam.\u00a0 If the second exam is not passed, then the student\u2019s password expires, and the entire course must be repeated with full tuition being charged again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What if I have questions or don\u2019t understand a concept in the online course?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Students are encouraged to telephone and speak personally with one of our expert instructors during scheduled hours.&nbsp; Our instructors are well-qualified to explain all concepts covered in the course.&nbsp; You can call us 9:00 a.m. through 7:00 p.m. 7 Days a week at 850-699-1996 or email your questions to&nbsp;<a href=\"mailto:Help@RussHarbour.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Help@RussHarbour.com<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What if I have questions before I order a course?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Please send us an email using the &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/russharbour.com\/index.php\/contact-us\/\">Contact Us<\/a>&#8221; section of our website.&nbsp; Or&nbsp;give us a call during regular business hours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>How much does it all cost?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Application fee to the state is $39.37 (payable to the Florida DBPR)\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>It typically take between 2 to 4 weeks to receive approval from the DBPR<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fingerprint fee averages $75 (payable to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fdle.state.fl.us\/Criminal-History-Records\/Documents\/InternetDoc_ServiceProviders.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">LiveScan fingerprint service provider<\/a>)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>State Exam testing fee is $57.75 (payable to Pearson Vue test center)\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Once your application is approved, you will receive instructions from the DBPR along with a Candidate ID that will enable you to schedule to take the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.pearsonvue.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Florida real estate examination<\/a> at a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pearsonvue.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Pearson Vue test center<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Have questions about getting your Florida Real Estate License?
